- India’s Multilingual Internet & the Road to ICANN63 , 10th October, 2018
Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations organized the event ‘India’s Multilingual Internet & the Road to ICANN63 on 10 October 2018’ with a view to capturing a broad snapshot of the various challenges and opportunities in developing different parts of the multilingual ecosystem for the internet in India. Ms. Sarika Gulyani, Director and Head-ICT, Digital Economy and FICCI-ILIA Division participated in the event as a panelist for the session “India’s Multilingual Internet”. The event saw panelists deliberating on key challenges in developing a multi-lingual and inclusive internet for every Indian and ideated on available and potential solutions to strengthen the Indic language ecosystem. The event also afforded the opportunity to brief and prepare stakeholders for the ICANN63 meeting held in Barcelona from October 20 to 25.
