Government e-Marketing (GeM) in association with FICCI-Indian Languages Internet Alliance (FICCI-ILIA) organized an industry interactive meeting to accelerate the adoption and use of GeM by Major Central Ministries, States and their agencies (including States, CPSUs/PSUs, and Local Bodies).
The interactive meeting focused on the pertinent topic of “Language Localization & CRM Services on GeM “. The meeting saw discussions and brainstorming sessions with various industry thought leaders and important government officials.
The objective of the interactive meeting was to harness the importance of regional languages in ensuring effectiveness in delivery of e-governance services, expectations from Industry for CRM & Localization Services on GeM and emerging technologies in Indian Language Localization Industry. The varied panel discussions held in the event focussed on the anticipated roadblocks in including language localization services in the GeM portal as well as the suitable way forward to address them.
